Tribute to the National Hero of Cuba
The members of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa today commemorated the
life, work and legacy of the Cuban National Hero, José Martí, on the 168th
anniversary of his birth.
Next to the tree and the plaque in honor of the Hero located in the Cuban diplomatic headquarters, the correspondent of Prensa Latina SA in South Africa, Manuel Vázquez, gave a talk about the ideological, media and symbolic war against Cuba and the evident enemy intention to erase o distort the anti-imperialist, humanist ideas and the ideal of justice of José Martí.
The tribute culminated with the reaffirmation of defending the legacy of Martí in which the Cuban Revolution has one of its fundamental pillars. Those who try to deny him or besmirch his work will fail!

de la Embajada de Cuba en Sudáfrica rememoraron hoy la vida, obra y legado del
Héroe Nacional de Cuba, José Martí, en el 168 aniversario de su nacimiento.
Junto al árbol y la placa en honor al Héroe ubicado en la sede diplomática cubana, el corresponsal de Prensa Latina SA en Sudáfrica, Manuel Vázquez, pronunció una charla sobre la guerra ideológica, mediática y simbólica contra Cuba y la evidente intención enemiga de borrar o distorsionar las ideas antiimperialistas, humanistas y el ideal de justicia de José Martí.
El homenaje culminó con la reafirmación de defender el legado de Martí en el cual la Revolución Cubana tiene uno de sus pilares fundamentales. ¡Aquellos que intenten negarlo o mancillar su obra fracasarán!
